If a creature with a multi-target attack (Deerclops, Bearger) accidentally hits a neutral bee, others from his hive will come out to help, so leading them into the middle of the biome can work to your advantage. When they all stop in midair, hit the lead bee if you want them to keep following you, or let them rest if your intended target is closer to them than you are.

Let them follow you towards your foe- try to loop around if possible.
DONT STARVE TOGETHER BEE BOX HOW TO
They're a resource, not a nuisance!Īs for how to leverage killer bees- they spawn when you walk near their hive, so try to spawn 2 swarms at once. You need to protect the hive from threats from below, particularly termites and rot-inducing dampness. The best part is that all they want is death- they won't eat or burn or otherwise ruin the drops from whatever they kill. Keep the roof on, and the boxes strapped together. If you get lucky enough to have them close to a swamp, even better- free tentacle spikes for days. I place a piece of 3/4 foam on top of the candy board for insulation over their heads. Also, whenever the killer bees de-aggro from you and return to the hives, they'll attack any creature on the way back, making hound attacks, koalaphant hunts, Pengull nests, and even giants that much easier. As a palliative, try some swee cil and a little animonia mixed together. In Don’t Starve Together, you may have a functioning Bee Box farm by the end of the first week, dependant on your spawn and amount of players with you.

As long as you don't run straight at a hive, you won't get stung more than once in passing, even without a walking stick. There have bee some excellent papers in ' Ainsworth's Magazine ' for these last. In Don’t Starve, you may not be able to gather enough resources for a fully functioning Bee Box farm until the Summer.
